Our friends at the Wireless Theatre Company have announced a new writing competition for young writers. Avast, ye young nimble pens! Here is an opportunity to work in this fantastic and limitless medium and get some serious kudos for your efforts:
Award winning radio drama producers The Wireless Theatre Company are launching their first ever new writing competition, especially aimed at young people.
Do you find radio drama boring/stuffy/old fashioned/out of touch?
Want to make it more appealing?
Are their musicians or artists you’ve always wanted to collaborate with? Involve them!
We’re looking for exciting, relevant, fresh new ideas from young writers.
If radio drama doesn’t interest you, why not?
This is your chance to write something you’d like to hear.
Please send us a pitch for your script idea, NO MORE than 500 words to:

All plays must be NO LONGER than fifteen minutes
One submission per person
Deadline for Entries:

The winner of the competition will have their script produced by WTC, working with a collaborative, respected director and experienced radio actors, as well as a cash prize of £150
