For the month of February Radio Drama Revival is featuring stories of a ghostly shade… Stories of ghosts sinister and lonely, vengeful and cantankerous. There are NO shortage of ethereal stories in audio land, but we’re going to be focusing on some tales you may not have run across before…
Today’s tale is the pilot of a BRILLIANT series called Sinister Properties. From the windy city comes this excellently produced, tautly written, well acted twist on the kind of suspense tales you’ve heard before.
Artemus Drake is a broker for distressed properties, with a boss he’s never met who never is known to sell the houses he purchases. On this occasion, Artemus meets a man who bought a beautiful condo for a song – only to learn that he has a roommate who’s no longer of this world.

Very articulate and arrestingly ambiguous. This is a marvelously told contemporary ghost story without frayed furniture, dark corners, and other gothic contraptions. Did I say entertaining? Yes!
