Yankee Clipper Audio DramaThis week we welcome Boston-area Colonial Radio Theater on the Air to the show with their series “Yankee Clipper and the Adventure of the Golden Sphinx.” Colonial Radio is a long-running and prolific production company whose work has appeared on satellite radio, terrestrial radio, and on the web at their own website, Lulu, and The Spoken Word Network.

The story today puts us into 19th century Egypt, where lost crypts of ancient pharoahs were still being unearthed and secrets revealed… In episode 1, the courageous crew of the Yankee Clipper takes on new cargo that is more than they bargained for.

    Thanks for the comments Eleanor! Sadly, Satellite radio really didn’t make it… IMO they were too much like regular radio in an age when the internet was becoming very available, and cheap if not free. Hard sell for “radio minus ads. well, radio minus MOST ads” in that environment
