Thanks for the comment! I’ve heard a lot of good things about “Bear” so I’m glad I put it on. I personally thought it was a great example of how you can take a fairy tale and make it “fresh.” I’m tempted to go back and read the original novel to see how much they compare.

I just listened to Episode 100, “Shadow of the Bear.” It was mesmerizing and superbly dramatized. Thank you for presenting this opportunity for me to learn by listening that radio drama did not end in 1962 when Supense and Johnny Dollar went off the air. You are delivering real contemporary entertainment! I’m hooked after one cast!

I enjoyed the past two episodes very much. I think you do a great job finding these stories and I am very happy with the sound levels. Many podcasts are either too low or have backgrounds noise making it hard to hear the story.

Belinda, I’m so excited to hear that! The show’s radio listeners don’t speak up much so I’m doubly excited that you both enjoyed the drama and were inspired to check out the site. The show has definitely taken a less macabre turn this month and I think you’ll like “Saki” if you didn’t hear it on ‘MPG, as well as Quicksilver’s spectacular rendition of “A Christmas Carol” which will be airing Christmas Day.

And please check out the Shadow of the Bear site to hear the whole thing! The MP3 Download is a very reasonable $15
