Our October scary story month starts off with a stylish and slick (with blood) tribute to Italian Ghiallo thrillers by 19 Nocturne Boulevard.

A woman troubled with mental problems moves into an apartment with several hot girls, who she starts to see brutally murdered in dreams, all of which she confesses to a psychiatrist who is a tad too excited about it all.   Lewd scenes, ultraviolence, and a few good “WTF” moments.

Happy birthday, 19 Nocturne Boulevard!  We featured them a year’ish ago with their brutal Making Book, and now they’ve won the Mark Time Award and regularly producing some of the best speculative audio drama around.

We wrap up our focus on the 2008 Mark Time Awards with the presentation of the Gold Mark Time winner, 19 Nocturne Boulevard’s “The Outpost.” We talked to the series’ diva, Julie Hoverson, back in December so we throw that interview in here for good taste.

In “The Outpost,” a woman from a matriarchal space-roving society finds herself on a distant space station with… *gasp* … men! What happens is an exploration of differing cultures, world views, and a little bit of good ol’ humanism.
